Job Description
Position Summary/Purpose:
Supports the Campus Visitation Staffing Specialist by coordinating candidate interactions with the Staffing Specialist throughout the hiring process. This position involves coordinating interview scheduling, facilitating communication during candidate courtship and on-boarding, and assisting with tracking of candidate’s progression during hiring phase, all aimed at enhancing the candidate experience and promoting job opportunities effectively. Through administrative support and outreach efforts, this role contributes to a streamlined, preparative, and engaging recruitment process for students.
Primary Responsibilities /Accountabilities/ Essential Functions:
Coordinate the scheduling of interviews and training sessions for candidates using Staffing Specialist’s calendar, ensuring timely and thorough communication.
Facilitate candidate engagement by sending prompt follow-up emails, texts, and calls, while providing essential support and answering low-level inquiries throughout the hiring process
Maintain accurate records of applicants and take primary in notifying the Student Employment Team of candidate status changes/transfers for Workday designations and linked requisitions.
Prepare and assemble physical copies of existing training materials for Staffing Specialist’s training sessions, ensuring all necessary resources are available for participants.
Assist in promoting job opportunities and training sessions by distributing advertising materials around campus and managing social media outreach.

Qualifications
- Friendly, enthusiastic, proactive, self-starter, organized, creative, forward-thinking, and dependable
- Need a student willing to work on-campus 30 hours per week over summer months.
- Outstanding customer service and communication skills
- Confident using MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
- Comfortable operating various office machines
- Comfortable multi-tasking on occasion
- Previous office experience preferred
Equipment Used and Responsibility
GCE Laptop/Surface (including headset) to complete work-related tasks and strategies.
Will work with MS Office Suite and Workday
Education:

- Enrolled at GCU as a full-time student in a Bachelor’s program or Master’s program.
- Retain a 2.0 GPA as a Bachelor level student or a 3.0 GPA as a Master level student.
- Maintain good financial and academic (SAP) standing with the University.
You may be subject to termination if you fall below the minimum requirements.
