Grand Canyon Education (GCE) is an educational service company that provides an array of support services in the post-secondary education sector. Formerly part of Grand Canyon University (GCU), GCE still supports and works closely with GCU. GCE designs and develops educational programs for GCU and other traditional campus institutions, as well as online partner institutions at the undergraduate, graduate and doctoral levels.

Grand Canyon Education is seeking a Lead Generation Specialist to join our growing team!  This role is responsible for supporting the Grand Canyon Education Marketing Department and University partner to assist with the conversion of prospects into students and manage paid inquiry generation campaigns for GCE’s Online Enrollment teams. In charge of the development and management of third-party hybrid media vendors and creating, analyzing, and reviewing lead generation data and reports across all program offerings. Hybrid media vendors are defined as 3rd party publications/ad platforms that drive traffic to the website via a CPC or CPM bidding model.

While this position is a Phoenix, AZ based role, we are in an indefinitely remote status. There may be department meetings or trainings that require in-person attendance (proper health and safety measures will be followed), in which advance notice will be provided.


  • Oversees the development and execution of a comprehensive third-party hybrid marketing plans and multi-million-dollar budget to achieve University partner goals, including but is not limited to, allocating budgets per vendor and program vertical, and ensuring desired volume/quality is delivered at/under budget.

  • Owns existing and potential vendor communications/optimizations, including but not limited to, analyzing, selecting, onboarding, relationship nurturing, issue resolution, quality control, and campaign growth and development.

  • Manages and collaborates with compliance services to ensure University partner’s branding, copy, and other creative specifications are always current. Identifies problems and opportunities to develop and sustain University partner’s branding/marketing with hybrid media partners.

  • Reviews and analyzes current and historical campaign data and/or user behavior, through 3rd party tools, in order to optimize lead campaigns, provide recommendations, and challenge partners with quality enhancements and innovative lead delivery strategies for internal and external partners. 

  • Produces reports for executive management and operation managers, including but not limited to, lead numbers, conversion data, trends, lead status reports, budgeted leads, and lead projections.


  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, marketing, business management or related field required from a regionally accredited institution.

  • 1-2 years of experience in digital performance marketing preferred.

  • Knowledge of audience targeting and remarketing strategies

  • Must stay current and maintain industry knowledge, trends in digital space

  • Must pass a pre-employment background investigation.

  • Willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends required.

  • Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement and Mission of Grand Canyon University.
