The Marketing Department is seeking a full-time Marketing Fulfillment Logistics Specialist. This position will assist the Assistant Director of Marketing Services in creating and establishing effective fulfillment timelines, managing equipment and other internal orders. Note: This is a hybrid position that will require 2-3 days per week in office and the other days working remotely from home.
What you will do:
Manage and maintain relationships with fulfillment facilities and production vendors.
Ensure equipment and promotional materials orders, productions and deliveries are well-coordinated and synchronized to meet necessary timelines.
Pull reports and delve into data to help determine volume of orders and achieve business goals.
Manage the order fulfillment process including order placement, inventory control, shipping and reporting.
Oversee the ordering tracking process and ensure orders are processing according to Marketing’s customer service standards.
Report on the progression of fulfillment operations, providing timely communication to inform internal management on the status of orders, changes, and activities that may affect business operations.
Collaborate with internal departments and external vendors to quickly resolve delivery and fulfillment issues.
Recommend opportunities and strategies to ensure fulfillment channels meeting current and/or future needs.
Work with department directors and managers to learn departmental needs and goals.
Manage and train Student Workers as available.
Safeguard the university client's brand and budget in the development of materials.
Other duties as assigned.
What you will have:
Bachelor degree in marketing or business preferred
3 years marketing, fulfillment or warehouse experience preferred
Experience in project management
Good attention to detail
Analytical skills
Knowledge of marketing branding and fulfillment processes
Provide a positive example to students by supporting GCU's Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement and Mission
