K12ED - Thundervision Student Worker (NFWS)
Purpose within the Organization:
The purpose of the Thundervision position is to assist the K12 Educational Development department’s Operations team with weekly middle school in-person and virtual college and career readiness GCU-based logistics and presentations as well as any additional tasks related to the department’s K-8 events and programs.
Responsibilities Related to Purpose:
Represent GCU and K12ED professionally and positively.
Organize and assemble materials and supplies for events and/or programs.
Assist in planning and preparation of logistics pertaining to events and/or programs.
Assist with virtual and on-campus weekly field trips for 6th-8th grade students.
Assist with any other administrative needs that arise as assigned.

Qualifications:
8 hours per week available. Must be available Mondays from 8:45AM-3:00PM for GCU-based field trip experiences. Additional hours to meet time can be flexible.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Willingness to work, learn, and be flexible.
Dependable and punctual.
Team player: collaboration is critical.
Comfortable presenting in front of middle school groups.

Therefore, all applicants must meet the following eligibility requirements to be considered for student employment:
Enrolled at GCU as a full-time student in a Bachelor’s program or Master’s program.
Retain a 2.0 GPA as a Bachelor level student or a 3.0 GPA as a Master level student.
Maintain good financial and academic (SAP) standing with the University.
You may be subject to termination if you fall below the minimum requirements.

Pay Rate: Minimum Wage
