The K12 Professional Development Manager I will be responsible for meeting with K12 partners, developing professional development contracts, and updating existing professional development modules. In this role, we will look to you to act as a representative for the Educational Development and Special Projects team and interact regularly with external partners in both written and oral communications.

What you will do:

  • Partner, collaborate, and communicate with various internal and external contacts, or customers, to develop professional learning experiences for K12 partners which further the interests of the educational development and special projects team as well as Grand Canyon Education and its partners. 

  • Conduct professional development in both in-person and virtual settings to support the overall function of the educational development and special projects team. 

  • When directed, meet with both internal and external professional development partners. 

  • With the assistance of team members, manage the flow of activities and acts as liaison to all others involved in the professional development projects. 

  • Input and maintain data into various software applications and reports progress using designated processes and procedures. 

  • Other duties as assigned.

What you will need:

  • Master’s degree in a related discipline (business, education, social science, etc.) from a regionally accredited institution.

  • 2 years of teaching and/or educational administrator experience.

  • An equivalent combination of directly related work experience and education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities. have been achieved may be substituted upon supervisor’s approval.

  • Must be able to pass pre-employment background investigation.
