International/Tribal - Junior Counselor (NFWS)
Job Description
Position Summary/Purpose:
This position reports to the Vice President of Online International Operations. The position will provide day to day assistance on a variety of tasks needed to ensure certain reports, tasks and student related follow-up items are worked as needed.
Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities/Essential Functions:
Assist with the processing of international evaluation documents.
Review/Audit of data and files.
Scan/Upload documents into student permanent files.
Assist the University Development Counselor with the input of inquiries, follow up on documents and contact perspective/current students.
Call and email pre-existing students on missing documents.
Equipment Used and Responsibility:
Proficient with MS Office and Adobe PDF
Qualifications:
Position requires attention to detail, organizational skills, time management, positive demeanor and willing to work as part of a team.
Experience/Education:
Grand Canyon University is committed to a student first policy. Therefore, all applicants must meet the following eligibility requirements to be considered for student employment:
* Enrolled at GCU as a full-time student in a Bachelor’s program or Master’s program.
* Retain a 2.0 GPA as a Bachelor level student or a 3.0 GPA as a Master level student.
* Maintain good financial and academic (SAP) standing with the University.
You may be subject to termination if you fall below the minimum requirements.
Physical Requirements:
Sitting, Standing and/or Walking up to 4 hours per day.
Pay Rate: Minimum Wage
Anticipated End Date: June 30, 2024
Position is up to 20 hours per week.
