Grand Canyon Education is currently seeking an Educational Development Coordinator I to support the Strategic Educational Alliances department. The Educational Development Coordinator I is responsible for assisting with coordinating activities, functions, tasks, and process for K12 Educational Development and Special Projects. The tasks will vary in complexity to ensure that goals and objectives are met. The nonexempt-level Coordinator I position is administrative in nature and typically works with supervision to follow the standard operational guidelines. The nonexempt coordinator I provides input in contracts and budgets but does not have final authority on these activities.
With supervision, partner, collaborate, and communicate with various internal and external contacts, or customers, to coordinate activities, promote and encourage cooperation of submission or collection of information/data, products or services or process improvement.
Assist with managing the flow of activities and acts as liaison to all others involved in the department.
Input and maintain data into various software applications such as MS Excel, internal databases, expense accounting, procurement, MS Access, websites, social media or conference scheduling software.
May work with internal and external personnel to assist with the effective delivery of professional development services to schools, districts, and educational organizations.
Other duties as assigned.
Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline (business, education, social science, etc.) from a regionally accredited institution.
2 years’ administrative professional work experience.
An equivalent combination of directly related work experience and education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved may be substituted upon supervisor’s approval.
Must be able to pass pre-employment background check.
