What you will do:

  • Partners, collaborates, and communicates with various internal and external contacts, or customers, to coordinate projects and distribute information that further the interests of the academic alliances as well as Grand Canyon Education and its partners, including the Arizona Department of Education.

  • In partnership with the AVP, foster relationships, and communication with the Arizona Department of Education, and enhance processes for the principal advisory network to strengthen connections between K12 and GCE/GCU.

  • Independently attend and generate appropriate materials to present at meetings that may involve executive level leadership.

  • Manage and provide oversight to various K12 award opportunities as generated through the K12 Educational Development departments and in partnership with other entities.

  • Collaborates with the K12ED Services and Solutions as well as Outreach and Support teams on appropriate projects and events which will be beneficial for public school network expansion in Arizona, California, and any additional states, as needed.  This may include evening and weekend events and travel.

  • Assist the AVP in oversight of any personnel and/or contractors.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What you will have:

  • Master’s degree in a related discipline (business, education, social science, etc.) from a regionally accredited institution.

  • 4 years’ educational administrator experience; prefer high school experience.

  • An equivalent combination of directly-related work experience and education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved may be substituted upon supervisor’s approval.

  • Must be able to pass pre-employment background check.
