Join us at Grand Canyon Education in the Office of Field Experience division! We are looking for a motivated Clinical Site Development Manager to manage a team of site development reps to expand placements sites for the designated Nursing programs within the College of Nursing and Health Care Professions.

*Must reside within Phoenix, AZ

New hire training will encompass three full weeks of training. One week will be held in-person at our Phoenix, AZ campus and the following two weeks will be held virtually via Zoom.

Here’s a taste of how you’ll make your mark as a Clinical Site Development Manager with us.

As a Clinical Site Development Manager, a typical week might include the following :

  • Manages a team of representatives who work defined territories which are based on the field placement needs of the College of Nursing and Health Care Professions students for its various Nursing Programs

  • Manages team to meet or exceed target activity levels to insure successful territory development; territory development will be to deepen relationship with existing accounts and obtain new sites to handle field placement volume.

  • Establishes database protocol to be able to generate reports which details site development activities including calling strategies, initial appointments, and on-site meetings. 

  • Generates weekly/monthly reports for CONHCP college and enrollment management which illustrates acquisition and retention of sites.

  • Oversees and manages communications with staff/preceptors/practicum site staff when escalations arise.

  • Trains team in customer service and relationship building skills to ensure all interactions with placement settings and students meet quality service standards.

  • Collaborates with Director of Field Experience in reporting on placement activity.

  • Collaborates with Director of Field Experience and CONHCP nursing management to ensure all students are placed in clinical practice site in order to meet graduation requirements.

  • Provides input for quarterly and annual budget considerations. 

  • Participates in department task forces to achieve process improvement.

  • Participate in preparation of yearly audits relative to funded program.

  • Attend quarterly meetings with appropriate stakeholders, internal and external.

  • Oversee increase in  partnerships/contracts for GCU with rural, private, community and hospital based clinics with emphasis on the uninsured and underserved populations as included in territory plan.

  • Contributes to the success of OFE by handling additional assignments/project initiatives as needed.

The role might be right for you if you have:

  • Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution required, Nursing or allied health care or health sciences discipline preferred.

  • Experience in business development preferred.

  • Experience in leading a team preferred.

  • Prefer experience in higher education and regulation of student placement in nursing programs. 

  • Ability to develop positive professional relationships and partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Self-motivated and action oriented.

  • Proficient with standard office programs and systems.

  • Must be able to pass background investigations.

  • Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement and Mission of Grand Canyon University.
