This Accounting Stipend Specialist is responsible for the timely processing of student stipend/refund checks by thoroughly auditing and maintaining the student’s account in conjunction with adhering to Title IV Funding regulations.

Monitors student's credit balances including credit balances generated by federal funds on a weekly basis and processes refunds
Process student stipend/refund checks
Assist with processes to ensure compliance with Title IV issues and maintain best practices in accounts receivable
Meet defined department goals and all established activity metrics
Minimum phone duties and no outbound phone calls
Other duties as assigned
High school diploma required. Associate degree preferred
Attention to detail - thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail
Collaboration - capability to work well independently as well as part of a team
Critical Thinking - secure relevant information, identify issues, and generate proposed solution
Must pass a pre-employment background investigation
